MOTOTECH AUSTRALIA
ABOUT THE COMPANY

MOTOTECH had humble beginnings starting with two friends and a plan to start a motorcycle work shop as we were both into bikes since a very young age. We start at home in a garage shed repairing bikes & painting in the later eighties. (We did it all!)

We parted ways and are still good friends today!

We later got the opportunity to paint for the Yamaha Marlboro superbike team and MX team in the early nineties which put us in the position to paint Yamaha GP bikes. The Yamaha team helped with exposure and allowed us to expand, painting internationally for other teams. We have done paint work for various teams and professionals to date, Kenny Roberts, Wayne Rainey, John Kocinski, Carlos Checa, Jean Philippe Ruggia (Honda Pons) to name a few.

Having this reputation and background for high quality paintwork, we grew rapidly. (We still paint for various race teams 25 years later!)

Mototech Australia originally started out as mototech91 in 1991. We became bigger and better at what we did so we changed to company. Mototech has been repairing and painting (every model) parts and panels for more than 25 years!

In the year 2000, we decided to start doing tune & service work and we purchased a DynoJet Dyno which we use for tuning all brands & tyres of bikes from 125’s to Roo Cruisers.

ABOUT THE OWNER

John Allman is originally an aircraft mechanical engineer. He started his trade in 1978 as an apprentice engineer with Qantas and finished his trade in the sophisticated and technical department of the hydraulic test room. This background for his training has always been the background for his operational processes/finish in the quality of work that leaves the premises of Mototech Australia. Mototech has been operating for more than 25 years to provide an alternative to buying new parts/panels for your damaged bike! It hasn’t stopped growing and we have a huge number of return customers & trade customers that will confirm the quality of our work.
